Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his paper "Combined Effects of Depression and Anxiety on Suicide: A Case-Control Psychological Autopsy Study in Rural China" in the journal Psychiatry Research 271 (2019): 370–373. The paper's coauthors, Xinxia Liu and Le Fang, were both visiting scholars to Buffalo State in 2015–2016.
