Well-known feminist author and magazine founder Andi Zeisler will deliver this year’s Women’s History Month keynote address on “Feminism and Pop Culture,” Monday, March 21, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library 210. Zeisler was recently named as one of the Huffington Post’s “Greatest Women.”
Zeisler will discuss the representation of women and men in various forms of popular culture, as well as how these depictions affect our views of gender equality and feminism. There will be a reception and book signing following her presentation, also in Butler 210. This event is free and open to both the campus community and the public.
