From The CIO And Vice President For Enrollment, Marketing, And Communications

Effective today, August 27, a number of new reporting structures, staff assignments, and office names have been put in place in the areas of Enrollment Management, College Relations, and RITE.
The offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registrar will report directly to me moving forward. Erin Alonzo’s last day as associate vice president for enrollment management was Friday, August 24. We thank Ms. Alonzo for her tremendous service to Buffalo State and wish her the best of luck in the future. Three staff members who previously reported directly to the associate vice president will now join the Admissions staff. The areas of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registrar will remain together under the division of Enrollment Management.
Also effective today, the College Relations Office has been renamed the Marketing and Communications Office to better reflect services provided in line with industry best practice.
Additionally, six staff members in RITE's Creative Media Services area will join the Marketing and Communications team in order to make the optimum use of our limited resources as we continually strive to creatively market and communicate the amazing story of Buffalo State. In the short term, some graphic design, photography, and video services that were previously provided by Creative Media Services staff members will remain in place, but as we identify additional efficiencies and align our resources to best support our enrollment efforts, the menu of offerings to campus clients will certainly change. As our plans emerge, we will communicate that information to the campus community.
