Record Number of Offices Give to Homecoming Food Drive

A record 27 offices contributed to the 12th annual Homecoming and Family Weekend Food Drive last week, benefiting the Buffalo State Food Pantry. Student-athletes from the softball and lacrosse teams canvassed the campus last Friday and delivered nine shopping carts of food contributed by faculty and staff members. Chartwells generously houses the Food Pantry, which is administered by members of the Food Pantry Committee. Students from Rotaract assisted in organizing the food in the pantry. Food is distributed by the committee members to Buffalo State students who need assistance with food. If you know of a student who needs assistance, please refer him or her to any of the following faculty or staff members: Kelly Boos, Classroom Building A113, ext. 6674; Carol DeNysschen, Caudell Hall 102, ext. 3218; Kim Jablonski, Weigel Health Center, ext. 6711; or Stephanie Kindzia, Moot Hall 230, ext. 4902.
