Exploring WNY's Climate Change Signal

Please join us for “Exploring WNY’s Climate Change Signal” on Monday, April 8, from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. in Butler Library 210. Global and U.S. climate change indicators suggest an environment of increasing temperatures, more intense rainfall events, and rising sea levels. What does the climate record of Western New York suggest? Are we seeing a signal for a changing climate? Working with undergraduate students Fred Bloom and Elvis Valerio, Stephen Vermette, professor of geography and planning, searches for WNY's climate change signal.
