James J. Sobol, department chair and associate professor of criminal justice, presented results from his research examining self-control and police decision making in a simulated environment at the American Society of Criminology Conference, held November 14–17 in Atlanta, Georgia. The study's coauthors were criminal justice professor Scott W. Phillips and associate professor S. Marlon Gayadeen.
