The Buffalo State community is saddened by the death of Judith L. “Judy” Janus, secretary in the Exceptional Education Department (retired), who died November 6, 2018. Mrs. Janus joined the Buffalo State community in the mid-1960s and retired in 2007. She is survived by her partner, Robert Schmitt, and a son. The family will be present on Sunday, November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lombardo Funeral Home, 3060 Abbott Road, Orchard Park, NY 14127. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. Additional information is available online.
