North Wing Garden Dedication

The Buffalo State Sustainability Council has completed the installation of a garden in the courtyard between Twin Rise and North Wing. The purpose of this garden is to provide a habitat for pollinating species, reduce runoff into Scajaquada Creek, and provide educational opportunities for the campus. The garden will be officially dedicated on Thursday, August 16, at noon, and members of the campus community are welcome to attend. Donations of native plants or seeds suitable for pollinators or inexpensive gardening tools will happily be accepted at the dedication but are not required. Along with dedication remarks, important announcements regarding other projects will be made, and refreshments will be served. R.S.V.P. by Tuesday, August 14.

The Buffalo State Sustainability Council advocates and promotes environmentally responsible policies and practices for the campus and larger community.
