Webinar: Feedback That Works

Do you find it difficult to give feedback, positive or negative, to the people you work with? Feedback is important because it offers insight into work relationships and can be an early warning system about behaviors that may pose trouble for you in your career. This workshop on Wednesday, March 20, from noon to 2:00 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library 181B will explore common mistakes, review the elements of effective feedback, and offer a model for giving feedback, as well as some of the common traps to avoid when giving effective feedback. No matter what level you occupy at the college, timely, ongoing, accurate feedback is the best tool for improving yourself and helping others develop. Creating and delivering a specific message based on observed performance is the key to effective feedback.

Please register by March 20.
