FITT Academy Scholar Presentation: 'Application of Medical Nutrition Therapy in a Classroom Setting' - April 3

Please join us for the Fostering Innovation in Teaching with Technology (FITT) Spring Symposium "Application of Medical Nutrition Therapy in a Classroom Setting," presented by Carol DeNysschen, chair and professor of Health, Nutrition, and Dietetics, on Tuesday, April 3, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Technology Building 160. Students in the dietetics program must critically apply medical nutrition therapy to patients with one or more disease conditions. By using case studies and mobile devices for self-assessment, all dietetics students (didactic and dietitian education) in the Medical Nutrition Therapy I course can apply critical thinking to examples of application of nutrition therapy.

The FITT Spring Symposium, a signature event of the FITT Academy, is a series of final presentations given by the academy's group of faculty participants throughout the month of April.

All presentations are open to faculty, staff, students, and guests.
