Adjunct faculty members are invited to attend an interactive session on service-learning pedagogy and the practice of incorporating a community engagement project into a course on either Wednesday, April 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Cleveland Hall 418 or Friday, April 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Classroom Building B108. Attendees will receive a $100 stipend.
Topics will include an overview of the theory and practice of service learning, and support with converting a course to include a community-based project.
Adjunct faculty members should register by e-mail.
