Professional Development: Evaluate Your Teaching by Measuring Student Learning

Engage in several methods of measuring student learning that can be applied in any discipline or at any course level. Explore surveys of students’ perceived learning gains, value-added essays, and knowledge-confidence surveys. These measures can also be used to supplement student ratings to provide a more complete look at teaching effectiveness. Presented by Sue McMillen on Friday, April 6, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library 181B. A light lunch will be provided.
