After months of planning, design, and public presentations, the work in the Campbell Student Union will be starting. Some of the first changes you will see are a temporary entrance and exit for residence dining and a partition isolating the center stair core and ramps in the main lobby. These features will enable the contractors to begin the first phase of the project.

Following the demolition of the center stair core and ramps, construction of the new dining mezzanine and new stairs to the lower lobby and third floor will begin. Coincidental to the onset of the phased main lobby work will be the starting of the third-floor work, which is the centerpiece of the rehabilitation project. The third floor will be closed at the beginning of spring break.
