After careful consideration, I am pleased to announce that both Kevin Miller, interim dean of the Graduate School, and Amitra Wall, interim associate provost, will have their interim status removed and will be appointed to three-year terms beginning June 1, 2018. This change in status is a recognition of the outstanding work each has done in his and her respective roles and reflects my belief that a longer appointment will provide greater stability to Academic Affairs. Please join me in congratulating Dr. Miller and Dr. Wall.
