Lecture: The History and Founding of Buffalo State's Arboretum - March 16

Please join the Friends of the Buffalo State Maud Gordon Homes Arboretum for a talk on the history and founding of the arboretum on Thursday, March 16, at 5:00 p.m. in the Burchfield Penney Art Center. The history of the arboretum dates back to 1962 and involves notable members of the Buffalo State community. Burchfield Penney archivist Heather Gring will provide a fascinating and lively talk on Buffalo State’s commitment to its urban landscape. Friends will provide an update on current efforts to restore the arboretum today. The talk is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Susan McCartney, director of the Small Business Development Center.
