Professional Development: Emerging Technology Talk - We Are Already Plugged In: Augmented Reality, Game-Based Learning, and the Internet of Things

Technology has become a ubiquitous part of our daily lives. This is due in part to the development of mobile technologies and networks and the accessibility of technology at the consumer level. No one would have predicted that a credit card reader for your mobile phone would be sold at a coffee shop, but that is the reality we live in today. Be a part of a discussion about the technology of our everyday lives and how it is changing the way we teach and learn on Wednesday, March 13, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Professional Development Center, E. H. Butler Library 181B. Facilitated by Ken Fujiuchi, emerging technology librarian. A light lunch will be provided.
