Edward Helling, an officer with the University Police Department, earned an award for his outstanding effort in DWI enforcement in 2012 from the Erie County Stop DWI Program on May 3. Helling was recognized along with 25 police officers in Erie County. UPD is proud of Helling's dedication to DWI enforcement and contribution to the quality and safety of the community.
