Marianne Ferguson, Professor, Philosophy and Humanities

Marianne Ferguson, professor of philosophy and humanities and a member of the Sisters of St. Francis, was profiled by her order as an example of the kind of leadership the sisters offer. The article, which appeared in the Winter 2012–2013 issue of Franciscan Spirit (vol. 2.3; PDF), noted that Ferguson was the first woman in campus ministry in New York State, and the first woman to teach in a seminary in the United States.
