Buffalo State will host a panel discussion, "Islamophobia in the 2016 Presidential Election Campaign," as part of the college's Black Cross Project on Thursday, April 14, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center South. Panelists are York Norman, associate professor, and Susan Randaccio, lecturer in Buffalo State's History and Social Studies Education Department; Melinda Brennan, Ph.D. candidate in gender studies at Indiana University Bloomington; and Naila Sahar, Fulbright Ph.D. candidate in English at the University at Buffalo.
All faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to the roundtable conversation and Q&A session that follows. This Black Cross Project event is made possible by sponsorship provided by the Grant Allocation Committee, the Faculty-Student Association, the Equity and Campus Diversity Minigrant Program, and the Woods-Beals Endowment.
