National Alcohol Screening Day: April 7

The Counseling Center staff invites you to take part in National Alcohol Screening Day on Thursday, April 7. This annual event is designed to increase awareness of the harmful behaviors that dependent drinking can cause. It is also for connecting people at risk of alcoholism with available treatment options.

The Counseling Center provides easy access to online screening tools. These brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional—they are a checkup from your neck up. This program is completely anonymous and confidential; you will see your results, recommendations, and key resources immediately following the brief questionnaire.
