Melaine C. Kenyon, Director of Technology Support Services, RITE

Melaine C. Kenyon, director of technology support services for RITE, presented the interactive session "Using LSRS and FLEXspace to Measure Impact and Support Learning Space Master Planning" at the Educause Annual Conference in Anaheim, California, October 25–28. FLEXspace, a 2016 Campus Technology Innovators awardee in the IT Infrastructure and Systems category, is a planning resource shared by technology integrators, facilities, and space planners. It was launched by SUNY in 2012 by the Learning Environments Task Group, a part of the Faculty Advisory Council on Teaching and Technology (FACT²). Today FLEXspace has nearly 2,000 user accounts from more than 800 academic institutions across 35 countries. Kenyon presented with Susan Chichester, chief information officer and director of CIT at SUNY Geneseo; Rebecca Frazee, lecturer at San Diego State University and a member of the FLEXspace core team; and Jim Twetten, formerly of Iowa State University, a member of the FLEXspace core team.
