Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his paper "Potential Years of Life Lost due to Suicide in China, 2006–2010," coauthored with Sun Long, in the journal Public Health 129 (5): 555–560. Sun Long was a visiting scholar to the Buffalo State Center for China Studies in 2015.
