The Small Business Development Center will present "Turning Innovation into Industry: An Introduction to the $2.5 billion Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Grants" on Thursday, August 20, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in Butler Library 208. This presentation is for business owners trying to develop innovative products, professors and scientists with great ideas, researchers interested in collaborating with businesses, and those who have completed a successful SBIR or STTR application but seek current information on the process.

The discussion will include an introduction to SBIR and STTR programs, an introduction and overview of NYSERDA programs, and the elements of a winning Phase 1 proposal.
