Hospitality Ambassador Event Celebrates 'Year of the Innovator': April 22

The 21st annual Western New York Hospitality Ambassador Awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 22, at 5:30 p.m. in the Burchfield Penney Art Center's Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Auditorium. A reception at Campus House will immediately follow the ceremony.

The awards ceremony recognizes professionals in the community together with undergraduate student scholarship recipients from the Hospitality and Tourism Department each year.

This year's Ambassador Award recipients:

  • Peter Cimino and Chris Dorsaneo, owners and operators of Lloyd Taco Trucks
  • Christa Glennie Seychew, senior editor at Buffalo Spree Publishing
  • Tim Herzog, '81, owner and general manager of Flying Bison Brewing Company

Hospitality students will display their culinary talents and professionalism at a reception featuring "innovative" cuisine. The extensive menu will be presented at food stations, each paired with wine. The cost of the event is $50 per person. Make your reservation today at campushouse@buffalostate.edu or call Krista Constantino, Campus House guest services manager, at ext. 3300.
