Data Analytics across the Disciplines Mini-Conference: April 10

Please join us for a Data Analytics across the Disciplines Mini-Conference on Friday, April 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Butler Library 208.

Data collection and analysis are transforming many areas of human endeavor. Collaboration between industry and academia in the field of data analytics holds the prospect of improving economic and living conditions both locally and worldwide. This mini-conference will provide an opportunity for industry and academia in the region to explore ways to promote and implement such collaboration. Academic programs in data analytics as well as industry needs will be described and discussed.

The conference, sponsored by Buffalo State and CUBRC in collaboration with University at Buffalo and SUNY Fredonia, includes presenters from health care, government, insurance, banking, and other industries and faculty from UB, Fredonia, and Buffalo State. Coffee and lunch will be included.
