'New World, New Wardrobe' Clothing Giveaway

Students enrolled in FTT 150 (Introduction to Fashion Merchandising) in the Fashion and Textile Technology Department will host the third New World, New Wardrobe Clothing Giveaway for refugees residing on the West Side of Buffalo on Saturday, December 7, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Asarese-Matters Community Center.

The New World, New Wardrobe project is designed to help refugees who need to build a new life in the United States. Students have organized various clothing drives to collect gently worn clothing and winter gear for all refugee families and will set up a retail store–like clothing giveaway where refugees can enjoy a free shopping experience.

This project is sponsored by the Auxiliary Services Grant Allocation Committee and the Vice President for Student Affairs Office.
