The International Center for Watercolor at the Burchfield Penney is dedicated to the study, advancement, and celebration of the watercolor medium. Join us in the center's studio classroom for our Watercolor Salon Series on select Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. throughout the summer. Each salon will feature a different watercolorist, inspiring you and your fellow painters to explore new techniques and approaches to the medium. Bring your own paints or borrow a set.
$10 for members; $20 for not-yet members.
Drop-in; no registration required.
All levels of painters welcome.
June 26 | Kateri Ewing: Yin and Yang of Expressive Detail
Come and explore ways to begin with juicy expressive strokes that narrow down into fine realism and detail. We'll let the unexpected and magical properties of wet-on-wet collide with fine detail of dry brush.
