All are invited to attend a presentation and open dialogue with representatives from Autism Services Inc. on Thursday, February 6, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. or Friday, February 7, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. in E. H. Butler Library 210.

Discover the characteristics of people on the autism spectrum and learn about their strengths and the challenges they face navigating our social world. Explore the sensory world of someone with autism and learn ways to meet their sensory needs and effective ways to communicate with people on the spectrum that go beyond words. Learn about the Ziggurat Model, one of the many comprehensive ways we build interventions to make learning more accessible to students on the spectrum. Take what you have learned and give it practical meaning by listening to educators who are making change happen in the classroom.
