Jeffrey Hirschberg's latest short film, Why Can't They All Be Like Johnny Depp? has been named an official selection at the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival and will screen in New York City on April 5.
Only 32 films were selected for the festival out of hundreds of submissions from all over the world. Hirschberg's short film was based on his feature-length screenplay of the same name, which was a winner in the Writer's Guild of America (WGA) Screenplay Reading Series in 2010.
