Sue Baldwin, Assistant Professor, Health and Wellness

Sue Baldwin, assistant professor, Health and Wellness, ran a six-hour training for the Hawaii Department of Education in Waikoloa, Hawaii, on June 17. The training of trainers was sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Adolescent and School Health, and featured the School Health Index Needs Assessment tool that examines a school district’s readiness to address health issues. Baldwin was one of 11 health educators selected in October 2007 by the CDC to carry the distinguished honor as a CDC trainer of trainers.
