Gerald Mead, lecturer, Design, will be included in a group exhibition of Buffalo artists’ work at the University of Moscow in Sterlitamak, Russia (November 1–30). A solo exhibition of his work will be presented at the Rockefeller Art Center Gallery at SUNY Fredonia (October 30–December 6), and he was part of the Authors and Artists 2009 exhibit at the Carnegie Art Center in North Tonawanda (October 22). Mead was also recently named an honorary member of the Still Film Photographers of Greater Buffalo, an organization devoted to the practice and preservation of traditional photographic techniques. He also judged the regional entries for the Lion’s Clubs International Peace Poster Competition.
