The American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) Practicing Democracy: Voter Education and Engagement on Campus workshop series continues Mondays and Fridays in March and April with sessions for faculty and staff members interested in preparing students and communities to participate in the upcoming elections. In March, the series explores ways to address political polarization and understanding voting as a social determinant of health among other themes. Register today for these workshops!
- Assessing Learning Outcomes for Student Civic Fellowships, March 11, 3:00–4:00 p.m.
- How to Incorporate a Political Diagnostic in Your Work, March 15, Noon–1:00 p.m.
- Physical and Mental Health During Election Years, March 18, 3:00–4:00 p.m.
- Integrating Civic Awareness Across Disciplines, March 22, Noon–1:00 p.m.
Workshops are open to faculty and staff members at all higher education institutions who care about voter education and engagement.
In April, the workshop series continues with themes of building campus-community ties and integrating voter education in your classroom. Please spread the word.
