The Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State College received two awards in the American Association of Museums 2010 Publications Design Competition. The center received second prize in the Supplementary Materials category for its Charles E. Burchfield Rotunda “tondos” (circular publications), and an honorable mention in the Invitations to Events category for its 2009 gala invitation. Both pieces were designed by White Bicycle. The annual competition is held by the public relations and marketing subcommittee of the American Association of Museums. Awards will be given at the AAM’s annual conference in Los Angeles in May.
