After careful review, I am disbanding the College Budget Committee, which consisted of the president, provost, and vice president for finance and management, effective immediately. I will rely on our shared governance processes for recommendations and the advice and counsel of my cabinet members on budget decisions and actions. This will provide more transparency and establish a broader range of advisers, which are representative of the many university constituents, when making critical budget decisions. I thank the College Budget Committee members for their past efforts and am confident that their input in the future will continue to support the mission of this institution.
