Campbell Student Union Space Requests

Student Leadership and Engagement manages space requests for the Campbell Student Union. Student leaders of recognized student organizations and campus departments at Buffalo State are invited to request space in the building. Reservations in academic buildings, the Plaza, and green space can be requested by faculty, staff, and student leaders through Events Management.

In the fall 2023 semester, the Campbell Student Union processed an estimated 643 space requests, which accounted for an attendance of 31,417 and 1,774 programmatic hours. Student Leadership and Engagement looks forward to continuing to support the campus community and its efforts in the spring 2024 semester.

Space Requests
Events in the Social Hall or Assembly Hall, and use of the entire upper or lower lobby areas, will require at least a 30-day notice and an event planning meeting with Student Leadership and Engagement at least 15 days before your event.

Space requests for tabling and for the fourth-floor conference rooms should be completed at least seven days before your event for adequate processing time.

Reservations can be made by completing the space request form at least nine months before an event.

You must enter your Buffalo State credentials and enable pop-ups on your device to access the form. A primary contact has been assigned for student organizations to submit space requests.

Rental and Equipment Fees
The Campbell Student Union charges appropriate user and equipment fees to internal, external, and external-sponsored organizations. These fees are used to help sustain the use of the building and provide necessary updates to continue to serve the campus community.

If you need assistance with a space request in the Campbell Student Union, please email studentunion@buffalostate.edu.
