Students from SLP 201 and DAN 214 will perform an American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation of the national anthem before the 5:00 p.m. kickoff of the Homecoming football game this Saturday, September 30, at at Coyer Field.
The students have been in the studio rehearsing and working hard on this opportunity to serve as advocates for the D/deaf. During this month of Deaf Awareness, we aim to highlight the importance of providing equal access to members of our community who are D/deaf, hard of hearing, or experiencing a hearing loss.
