Catherine Lange, assistant professor, Earth Sciences and Science Education, has been awarded an American Association for University Women Community Action Grant for her project “Motivating All Students through Rolemodels.” MASTR will be a series of once-a-month informal panel discussion/dinner meetings for middle and high school girls, their parents or guardians, and school officials. The following meetings will be held on campus from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Science Education Center, Science Building 102:

January 28, 2009: Computer Engineering
February 24, 2009: Mathematics
March 24, 2009: Earth Sciences
