Theater Department professor and chair Drew Kahn, his wife, Maria, and 16 Buffalo State theater students worked with the Olmsted PTO to create a World Arts Fair at Buffalo Public School 64, Frederick Law Olmsted School. The school hallways were lined with more than 1,000 flags made by the students, and the gymnasium was filled with stations that offered the kids and their parents an opportunity to explore music, crafts, games, dances, and sports from around the globe. In addition to the diverse artistic inspiration, much-needed funds were raised for Olmsted 64 that will provide for unique after-school curricula and extensive field trips.
