Meg Knowles , Assistant Professor, Communication

Meg Knowles, assistant professor, Communication, directed a new half-hour documentary about Elizabeth Cady Stanton and the first Women’s Rights Convention of 1848, “See That the World Is Moving,” which premiered at the 12th International Women’s Film Festival at the Market Arcade Film and Arts Center in March. She produced a 30-minute television program titled “Water,” which screened at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in fall 2007 and at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson in Baltimore, Maryland, in spring 2008. She also recently screened her award-winning short film “Walk” at the Post-Museum in Singapore; the Annexe Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; the Burchfield-Penney Art Center in Buffalo; Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua; and the DIVA Center in Eugene, Oregon.
