NFTA Invites Feedback to Proposed Route Change by September 8

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) has informed Buffalo State College of a proposed adjustment to NFTA Metro Route #32 (Amherst). The adjusted route, planned for spring 2022, would eliminate the deviation to Buffalo State and is reportedly being proposed because of low boarding rates from campus and to reduce the ride time for other passengers on the route.

The campus will continue to be served directly by NFTA Metro Route #3 (Grant) and Route #20 (Elmwood). More information on NFTA’s proposed Bus Network Improvements is available on the NFTA website. The NFTA welcomes feedback on this and other proposed changes by Wednesday, September 8, via email at planning@nfta.com; phone at (716) 855-7211 (NFTA Customer Care); or U.S. mail to NFTA Service Planning, 181 Ellicott St., Buffalo, NY 14203.
