Please join us at the Buffalo State College Newman Center (1219 Elmwood Ave, 14222) on Monday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m. for the Newman Scholars Forum presentation and discussion on "Faith and Consumerism." The Newman Scholar's Forum gathers experts from various faith traditions to engage in dialogue about important social and spiritual issues. Our upcoming forum will involve various faith perspectives on consumerism and, more broadly, living simply. Panelists include Rev. Gabriel Scarfia, OFM (Christianity), from Christ the King Seminary; Professor Jeannette Ludwig (Buddhism) from the University at Buffalo; and Professor Othman Shibly (Islam) from the University at Buffalo.
