New Upton Hall Screening Room: Open House December 5

Buffalo State Facilities Planning and RITE Classroom Support are pleased to announce that Upton Hall 230 has been renovated into an upgraded learning space—an 88-seat media screening room, complete with raked seating, room lighting control with blackout capabilities, air conditioning, and 5.1 surround sound. This space also houses a region-free Blu-ray player that will allow Blu-ray and DVD media to be shown from other parts of the world.

Please join us for an open house to tour the new classroom and see demonstrations of the room's capabilities on Tuesday, December 5, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:30 p.m.). Staff members from Classroom Support will be on hand to answer questions.

Pictures of the room as well as instructions on how to operate the equipment are available on the RITE website. Please call Classroom Support at 878-6670 with questions about Upton Hall 230’s technical capabilities.

Upton Hall 230 is available to reserve for special events or academic classes. To reserve this space for a one-time event or class, please contact Events Management to place your reservation. To inquire about relocating your class to this space for J-Term or spring semester, please contact the Registrar's Office.
