Engage in several methods of measuring student learning that can be applied in any discipline or at any course level. Explore surveys of students’ perceived learning gains, value-added essays, and knowledge-confidence surveys. These measures can also be used to supplement student ratings to provide a more complete look at teaching effectiveness.
