The Buffalo State College community is saddened by the death of Jean F. Gounard, the former director of international student affairs, who died October 1, 2020. Dr. Gounard joined the college in 1978 and retired in 2018. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Iten; two children; and three grandchildren. A local memorial service will be held next year.
