A campus memorial celebrating the life of Dr. William B. Bennett, retired professor of economics and finance, will be held from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, in Classroom Building C122.

Dr. Bennett was the chair of the Economics and Finance Department and a faculty member for 26 years at Buffalo State. He passed away March 1, 2014, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. He was responsible for establishing the department, and he created the Stock Market Game, which is used in high schools across New York State and beyond.
