Law Luncheon Series Continues Tuesday, October 29: All Are Invited

Lecturer Jon Lines and Assistant Professor Peter Yacobucci of the Political Science Department invite all members of the campus community to the second of this semester's luncheons on Tuesday, October 29, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Cleveland Hall 205, when local attorney Joseph J. Marusak will lead our discussion on recent legal developments, legal education, and legal careers. Marusak serves as counsel to Kloss, Stenger & LoTempio with more than 30 years of trial experience, having taken over 100 cases to jury verdict in criminal and civil cases. He previously served in the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, where as a deputy district attorney and chief of the Homicide Bureau, he prosecuted homicides for 15 years, including more than 50 murder jury trials. In addition, Marusak has taught trial advocacy and coached mock trial teams for the University at Buffalo Law School and has lectured for the New York State Bar and New York State District Attorneys associations.

This is your opportunity to interact with an esteemed member of the local legal community on an informal basis and ask questions on a wide variety of topics. Lunch will be provided through the fifth annual SUNY Explorations in Diversity and Academic Excellence Initiative.

If you are interested in attending, RSVP to Peter Yacobucci.
