International Education Week: Celebrating Study Abroad

The Global Engagement Office thanks the campus community for joining in our International Education Week celebration. Today, we are highlighting study-abroad opportunities. Buffalo State sponsors a wide variety of study-abroad programs, including semester-long and short-term faculty-led trips.

• Today during Bengal Pause, a study-abroad interest meeting will be held in Caudell Hall 110. Faculty members who have an interest in leading a short-term trip should contact Melissa Holland, director of international education.

• End your day on a high note by enjoying the Buffalo State Philharmonia Orchestra in concert at the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall tonight at 7:30 p.m.

• Special thanks Chartwells for offering ethnic food in the Bengal Kitchen during International Education Week. Today’s dish is bulgogi beef from Korea. It will be offered in addition to other daily selections.

• The "Souped Up" food truck will be on campus tomorrow, November 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. selling a soup-and-sandwich combo for $10. A portion of the proceeds from this sale will go toward travel expenses for a service-learning study-abroad project to Haiti supporting Hope for Haiti.
