Interior Design Student Show Closing Reception Tonight

Organic design had its roots in Art Nouveau where curvilinear shapes equaled emotion. Can a house be a series of bubbles? It could if you were Antti Lovag. Come and find out how. Join us for our closing reception this evening, February 7, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Upton Gallery. The student show includes conceptual models, lighting design, renderings, and comprehensive projects. Designers explored range from the Roycrofters and Shigeru Ban, to Bernard Tscumi, Mario Botta, and Herzog and de Meuron. Work ranges from exciting spaces for high-end retail designers to new office space to be housed within the historic Boiler House on the Roycroft Campus. Come and meet the Interior Design students and faculty, indulge in refreshments, and view creativity thriving on campus!
