New Self-Service Options Available from RITE

This summer, RITE unveiled a new self-service portal powered by TeamDynamix and a new self-service software solution. We encourage the campus community to try out these two new exciting self-service options.

The self-service portal includes a searchable Knowledge Base, where you'll find answers to many common technical questions, how-to guides, training resources, and more. We currently have almost 200 articles to help with things such as setting up e-mail on your iPhone or Android and connecting your Windows or Mac laptop to the secure wireless network.

Another important component of the portal is the Service Catalog, listing all the services that RITE provides. The catalog enables faculty, staff, and students to report problems and request services from RITE by completing a short online form (rather than having to call the Support Desk to open a ticket). You can use the catalog to request accounts for new employees, grant access to a network folder, have a computer moved, have software or hardware installed, and much more.

RITE has also made select software applications available, including Office 2016, to install via self-service on faculty or staff campus workstations. Follow the links below for instructions on how to view and install software titles available for your computer.

These self-service solutions empower faculty, staff, and students to find answers, open tickets, and install software to enhance the campus experience and increase productivity.
