The deadlines for two programs that support student research are approaching. Only applications completed by the deadlines can be considered.
The 16th annual Student Research and Creativity Celebration (SRCC) is open to both undergraduates and graduate students. This year's event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3.
Access to the online application will remain open for students through midnight Tuesday, March 18. Faculty mentors have through midnight Thursday, March 20, to review, edit, and approve application(s) submitted by their student(s). SRCC applications are completed online. Visit the Undergraduate Research website or scan the QR code on the event posters.
Note: Many resources are available to help students prepare abstracts and artist statements, design posters, and take advantage of the 'Early Bird' printing discount.
The Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Program is open to undergraduates with a graduation date of December 2014 or later. Applications are completed entirely online (both the student and mentor portions). The deadline for students to complete their part of the application and forward it to their faculty mentors is midnight Wednesday, April 2. Mentors have through midnight Friday, April 4, to complete and submit the full application. A detailed description for conducting the research, scholarly, or creative activity is necessary and prepared by the student. Faculty mentors are required to provide a detailed mentoring plan.
